Moringa Sagrada is such a gem! I visited for a week in March 2024 for personal retreat. Knowing Nancy, I knew the place would be special but I wasn’t prepared for just how special. The energy is so peaceful and uplifting. My heart felt at ease the entire time I was there. I was able to reset and really drop into my heart. Daily yoga and meditation by the river, all the birds, the fresh fruit, flowers & herbs are so abundant right at the finca, walks to the market, healing support with the team onsite, everything was just tranquil. My nervous system is afflicted with an incurable disease but while here things shifted considerably. Loved the easy access to so many beaches as close as 3-5 miles away. The beaches are just stunning. Everything from simple seaside fishing towns to majestic mountain lined beaches a bit further up the coast. We loved our excursion to La Playa de la Isla aka The Poor Man’s Galapagos. WOW!!!! Just breathtaking!!!! And the very short trip inland to the communal living area Los Mangos to the cacao farm was truly a highlight. Horseback riding to the hidden swimming hole deep in the forest was a magical day! Nancy’s team helped organized the most professional guides and transportation. Everything was thoughtful and stress free. I just felt so at ease and experienced Ecuador with so many beautiful local people. What a country full of so much kindness and healing energy, Moringa Sagrada being such a special part of that! I will be back.

Hoping to get to MoringaSagrada in the next year! The owner and my friend, Nancy, is an amazing human. Her former Bowen Works healing center here in the states has helped me avoid surgery on my foot and diminished my hip pain. I’ve enjoyed so many experiences with Nancy, from camping to house parties, Reiki shares and long conversations about love and life. Miss her and hope to visit soon!

While I had heard of Bowen Therapy I hadn't experienced it until recently. In only two short sessions, Nancy was able to unlock something in my right hip that was preventing it from fully opening. This condition had plagued me for as long as I can remember. It influenced my decision to end my dancing and teaching endeavors in my early 20's and was evident throughout my 20 year yoga practice. Then poof, just like that, it gets unlocked and I can sit crossed legged and my right knee is no longer hinged in mid air. An impressive and lasting therapy facilitated by an experienced, intuitive, competent and caring individual! I recently completed a work exchange at Finca Moringa Sagrada (FMS). The experience was wonderful and there were so many positive experiences that in describing them it is hard to know where to begin. This having been my first trip to Ecuador, I was excited yet nervous about getting around but the communication with FMS staff not only put me at ease before my travels began but also the provision of transportation from the airport to the finca made my arrival as worry free as possible. Once at FSM I was impressed by the beauty of the land with all of the tropical sights and sounds one might see in such a location. Staying at FMS was also a delight. The staff were all warm and accommodating going above and beyond what I expected while engaging in a work exchange. I wholeheartedly endorse the work exchange offering at FMS for anyone willing to lend their skills in the restoration and beautification of this awesome property in exchange for staying in a peaceful, healthy, friendly environment that is located in a place that is surrounded by rich Ecuadorian culture, exotic wildlife, scenic coastlines, but most of all, fantastic people.
